Staff was inflexible. Best area for breakfast was closed for a commercial event.

fantastic access to top museums and beautiful parks nearby
I loved how easy it was to stroll over to the Rijksmuseum and Vondelpark, both just a short walk away, allowing me to enjoy the beautiful Amsterdam scenery and immerse myself in the city's rich culture.

Thanks everyone for a quite comfortable stay for the benefits of our HHonors points to be recognised. The location was marvellous and easy, next to the downtown area, De Pijp and many sightseeing spots and easily accessible.

We also booked a conference room. The ac did not work there. No surprise, because why else should there be a fan in the room. Still it was too hot (on a cool day...). Luckily the nature of our meeting enabled us to confer with open doors.... But this of course is not what one expects from a hotel with this reputation. Further there is just enough space to move the chairs, but if you want to pass behind the person sitting next to you, he/she must stand up... Let me ensure you: the conference room does not come at a cheap price!

The service in the restaurant of the hotel was very good. All the staff was polite and ready to make true our wishes. The room was clean and the region of the hotel is one of the best in Amsterdam.
Some of the recepsionists should be in a different post. Communication was not their best; we couldn't understand each other. We were lucky though, that we found a Greek receptionist and we could ask her.

Our room had a lovely view of the canal. My nephew especially loved the kids' menu available at the restaurant.
In my wife's opinion, the check-in process could be smoother. It would be great to streamline that for families with children.

Hotel was very good, but very expensive. We specified by the booking that we would like to have a room with a balcony and on the last floor, but at the reception have demanded 100 euros more for it. We have naturally disagreed. The hotel has made upon us tremendous impression, a magnificent huge bed, a cozy room, a faultless bathroom, the remarkable personnel, always ready to help. The porter has helped us to print the plan how to go to Duesseldorf. Thanks a lot for his help.
Breakfast is not included in this expensive price. Minibar in the room is very expensive too. One Bottle of water 6€! We didn't touch anything in this minibar=))))
